One second a week
General trying to focus on movement and my principles of animation.
I looked towards the internet, and found an animator called Amy Lockhart.
They are a filmmaker, animator and artist. They’re animations have been to festivals nationally and internationally, including the Ann Arbor Film Festival and International Animation Festival in Hiroshima, Japan. They have also received a fellowship at the National Film Board of Canada and support from the Canada Council for the Arts. Completed many residences, most notable the California Institute of the Arts.
Drawn & Quarterly published Dirty Dishes, a book of her paintings, sculptures and drawings in 2009. Her work was recently included in Afterimage at DePaul University Art Gallery and Not Bad For London at Michael Gibson Gallery.
I must admit I am not the best animator by far, however my understanding lies within art etc.
I also found another Honourable mention called Anca Damain.
They studied at the Academy of Theatre and Film Arts where she obtained a diploma in Cinematography and a Doctor’s degree in Arts, Cinema and Media. Her second feature as director, screenwriter and producer “Crulic – The Path to Beyond” (2011) got the Cristal Award in Annecy, and more than 25 prizes at other festivals.
In 2008 she made her first long feature film as a director, screenwriter and co-producer. ‘Crossing Dates’/Intalniri incrucisate (2008) was selected at Pusan, Chicago, Goa, Cottbus, Goteborg and Rome. Before this, Anca worked as a director, screenwriter and producer for several documentaries on art, and also worked as director of photography of two feature films and many documentaries and shorts.
