Welcome to my Portfolio!

Hello all, and welcome to my online portfolio. I hope that You can easliy view my work as it progesses from now.

My name is Ancuta, I grew up in the UK. Studied in Ireland for 3 years, at the South west college Enniskillen. On an art level 3 BTEC course. Where I have explored all mediums of art. However my main focus is animation. Where I now study at the University of Lancashire, Animation BA Hons currently a third year.

My prefered mediums are soft pastels', watercolours' or gouche, clay or ceramics, ink, photography, Clip art, Procreate, Illustration, Blender and After effects.

Photography has played a main role within the art I make, acting as inspiration or refernce. And it allows me to view the world around at different times of seasons and lighting. I particularly love using it on my travels and walks throughout the days at different times.

Pastel's actual was an unknown too me until I moved to Ireland. You go through school only using and being taught the basics of painting and drawing. However I had an opportunity to be taught here by a private teacher. Not having much experience I excelled quickly, and found a passion for it right away, once I had learned all it's techniques. You could say I had a good base from school and childhood, alway engaging the eye.

My Ceramics as of late is more recent though I have practiced once or twice, previously. However my mind set had changed since going too college and I found I loved it. I loved the factor you could make anything physical into this world. The possiblities were endless.

And as for my current experiences as an animator on my course I find I am best suited for mixed mediums and techinal aspects, for motion graphic design and or illustration.
